I feel like it's Christmas lately. Or I've been good. Which, I haven't. :D

This is from senoritafish. I'm gonna just C&P what she wrote on the Flickr photo, because it's cute too:

Sariel and Ganesh...

...there were just as many evenings when the man would sit in the opposite corner of the couch, not discontented, but apparently self-contained, and a most tantalizing distance apart. Ganesh regarded this eccentricity. He did not find it personally offensive, though it was a source of a small amount of frustration. - Chap. 21; The L Word.

Believe it or not, this is a bit of Metalocalypse fanart of a fanfic, Tikistitch's Mythklok series. In this one, Charles is actually a fallen angel (Sariel is his angel name). His (adoptive) sister Raziel gave Ganesh the advice to think of Charles as a wary stray cat in order to win him over. Since Ganesh is the elephant god, I just did both of them in their animal forms (since I'm not so great at drawing sexy Indian men, much less angel/ninja/manager/lawyers).

Now that I think of it, perhaps I should put a tentacle sneaking over the back of the couch... ;p

I'm a little suprised how the background came out myself - I don't usually do them. As for the couch, I was thinking of my grandmother's antique one that's still in our living room, but desperately needing reupholstering. It has this neat carved wooden rail on the back but that was beyond my capabilities to draw.

I may still color it, but I'm afraid maybe the "old-fashioned" look of it might be that my scanner is broken, so this is a photo of a 5x7" pice of paper that's been somewhat edited in Picnik. ;p
