I feel like it's Christmas lately. Or I've been good. Which, I haven't. :D

This is from senoritafish. I'm gonna just C&P what she wrote on the Flickr photo, because it's cute too:

Sariel and Ganesh...

...there were just as many evenings when the man would sit in the opposite corner of the couch, not discontented, but apparently self-contained, and a most tantalizing distance apart. Ganesh regarded this eccentricity. He did not find it personally offensive, though it was a source of a small amount of frustration. - Chap. 21; The L Word.

Believe it or not, this is a bit of Metalocalypse fanart of a fanfic, Tikistitch's Mythklok series. In this one, Charles is actually a fallen angel (Sariel is his angel name). His (adoptive) sister Raziel gave Ganesh the advice to think of Charles as a wary stray cat in order to win him over. Since Ganesh is the elephant god, I just did both of them in their animal forms (since I'm not so great at drawing sexy Indian men, much less angel/ninja/manager/lawyers).

Now that I think of it, perhaps I should put a tentacle sneaking over the back of the couch... ;p

It's so surreal, yet fitting somehow. A small part of me wishes to see it colored, but doing so might ruin the old-fashioned look that the picture has.

Now I want to write a spirit animal story...hmm, perhaps a small one, though I have no plot yet.

I totally agree. I really like how Ganesh's living room came out kind of Victorian looking.

Oh, that would be fun! I miss Ganesha as an elephant god, and haven't really figured out how to bring that back yet, there's been so many other weird things going on.

I would LOVE to see an Angelkitty!Charles plushie. I have made plushies before, but only from kits or patterns. I don't think I'm the first to have drawn Charles as a cat, but maybe I am with wings...

I know, Ganesh sorta seems like someone out of a different era (probably because he's immortal). Though he's probably going to redecorate now that he kinda destroyed his house with a voodoo spell.

I'm a little suprised how the background came out myself - I don't usually do them. As for the couch, I was thinking of my grandmother's antique one that's still in our living room, but desperately needing reupholstering. It has this neat carved wooden rail on the back but that was beyond my capabilities to draw.

I may still color it, but I'm afraid maybe the "old-fashioned" look of it might be that my scanner is broken, so this is a photo of a 5x7" pice of paper that's been somewhat edited in Picnik. ;p

I think I'd had this in my head since I read that, but this is the first time I'd actually procrastinated cleaning up the kitchen sat down and got it out.

EEEEE! I kinda want to hug elephant!Ganesh. He looks huggable. Kitty!Sariel is adorable, with the glasses and tie and his own pillow. Yeah, he's a stray cat. The kind with huge, infectious claws hidden away.

I kinda suspect BDP Charles is more of a scorpion. They're very protective of their young.

I second the tentacle, btw.

It's funny - I cleaned out my danged closet yesterday because I was procrastinating on writing a fic! I get that way when something sad happens. I should think about a bunch of sad stories, because then I think my house would look spiffy!

Heh, he only has his own pillow because I drew Ganesh first, and when I realized where I put the couch seat, Charles was too far down toward the edge of the paper. And I think I'd like to hug Elephant!Ganesh, too. ;p

A scorpion, huh? Well, I have drawn him as a dragon, which are also pretty protective (I like to think, anyway).
