I wonder if I need a tag or something?
So, basically, Sushi has been writing a longer fic in the Metalocalypse universe called Big Damn Patchwork. Now, I had never published a fic before I joined CLDK last year. And one of the things I did that was no doubt completely wrong was a read a few fics, but not tons and tons, in this fandom so as not to completely psych myself out beforehand. (I've read fanfic for some time, and inevitably end up too intimidated to attempt anything myself.)
As it turns out, if I had really understood how good the writers were in this fandom, I NEVER would have bothered to start posting shit, which probably would have been for the good of the world. But, whatever. Anyway, I started writing a bunch of nonsense in the Mythklok universe. One thing I've done is I've given Pickles the power to go on crazy Spirit Walks, so I thought it would be kinda funny if he ended up in another Metalocalypse AU, so sent him over to BDP. And some time after that, I asked Susan to read some of her earlier chapters in BDP, and we realized there were these bizarre, unintentional parallels, primarily, Charles being involved with a hot Indian dude. I was like, WTF? Anyway, this was Sushi's attempt to deal with this.
