BTW, if you're too danged young to remember Patti's version of the song, it's perfectly amazing, but it's pretty easy to find, whereas this one is only on that crazy Darkness on the Edge of Town box set. We got to hear Bruce sing this live in concert. I've heard Nils Lofgren also does an amazing cover.

Patti is a longtime girlcrush. I *heart* Bruce because he is a shameless romantic; he is from New Jersey; and his lead guitarist played a mobster on The Sopranos. How could one person possibly be more awesome?

I've begun to assemble a little angel playlist. Maybe I'll get unlazy and post another song at some point.

Heh, the first question I asked was if a body could fit in the trunk. No joke. My friend went car shopping and foolishly took me along for the ride. The car she was looking at had a huge amount of trunk space and I asked if Shaq could fit in there. We finally decided that if we flipped down the rear seat for the extended trunk room, yes he could fit.

I can do the same thing if you decide to go house hunting...

Me: Hey, how thick are these walls? Are they insulated? Will a body fit between the drywall? How about the attic? How many people can I stash up there? Forget the basement, the smell will rise and drive us out. How tough is that garbage disposal? Is there a septic tank, or does it go straight to the sewer system?

(These are the must-ask questions for proper body disposal.)
