Lamps.

Lighting is important. It creates a nice atmosphere.

I've started to think Brendon threw Charles' fixation on lamps in deliberately.

The Book of Revelation (not RevelationS) is full of chatter about lampstands.

People love Revelation, because there's so much fucked up shit. Here's a passage:

And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.

You might recognize it, because Johnny Cash used it in a song. It's just really beautiful and haunting.

"The secret of the seven stars you have seen in my right hand, and of the seven golden lampstands is this: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches themselves." (Rev.1:20).

Lamps are supposed to represent different churches. When the author of Revelation has a vision, it's filled with golden lamps (though not necessarily from IKEA).

The other thing I've been thinking is that "Lucifer" means light-bearer. And that when Dr. Rockso asks Charles if he's an angel, Charles tells him "Yes, yes I am."

I think I got it wrong in Mythklok. I don't think Charles is supposed to be a fallen angel, I think he's supposed to be THE fallen angel. I think they're hinting he's Lucifer, ie, Satan himself.

But maybe that's just me.
