A question about pacing?

This is mostly for the 3 or 4 of you who like to read chapters as I put them up.



So, I did something really strange (for me) when I was on vacation: I have an outline for what I think is gonna be 5 or 6 chapters, which I'm writing all together. They're about half the length of my usual chapters (the first is around 4,000 words) so it's not tons, it's just a bit different.

My question is, how often is gonna be too often to put stuff up? Thing is, when I get behind on a multi-chapter fic, I often just get lazy and drop it. Yeah, I know, I'm a lazy butt. So sue me. Is two or three chapters a week gonna be too much and you'll all hate me?

You should post what feels right to *you.* I have not been as good as I should about reading, although things have been horribly busy for the last, oh, 6 weeks? for me (and I expect and sincerely hope it will all end TODAY so I can get back to having something like a normal online life again).

The urge to write and to post as fast as possible--I've had that and I understand it perfectly. Please to write and to post away! :)

I can handle daily updates quite easily, so like threeish a week is well within the tolerable zone. :)
